Five (5) years of experience with desktop Operating Systems, hardware and
peripherals. Ability to work independently under limited supervision. Demonstrated ability to
plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of
hardware and software systems. Demonstrated ability to plan or schedule the installation and
deployment of new hardware, operating systems and applications software. Manage accounts,

Five (5) years’ experience in managing sophisticated computer networks. Of the five (5) years, three (3) years’ experience in network architecture and deployment. Must have experience working and completing IT projects, intermediate knowledge designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining networks and their associated components (switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers etc.) Must demonstrate experience troubleshooting networks, network hardware and software, configuration management, optimizing network performance, monitoring network security, analyzing system logs, documenting network architecture and design. Must have experience designing and implementing network tunnels, diagnosing and repairing connectivity issues, performing vulnerability scanning and installing security patches, and monitoring and measuring the performance of networks and their components. Must have final secret or top-secret clearance; must have Security+ certification; and server 2012R2 or 2016 OS/CE certification, UNIX/Red Hat Linux and Solaris course completion.

Two (2) years of related experience in industry, federal or DoD Help Desk support. Experience shall include telephone technical and on-site support to employees regarding setup, troubleshooting and maintenance of user workstations. Experience shall include identifying potential issues with computer systems, installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, upgrading software and use of a helpdesk ticketing system. The Systems Administrators will provide support for the classified network and associated infrastructure running a mixture of Windows and Linux operating systems. This involves support for Simulation software products, AEGIS combat system interfaces, and networks used for testing and training for the AEGIS combat system.

The Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense/Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer (CIAT) Operator provides operational support to CIAT in three locations: Dahlgren, VA; Norfolk, VA; and San Diego, CA.
• The system utilizes Tactical code running on virtualized machines.
• Provides fidelity to train all required Combat System capabilities.
• Supports basic phase training events at the waterfront but can accommodate a wide range of training events.
• Ground truth recording capability on instructor and watch stander console displays and audio for after action playback and analysis.

Support of in-service engineering associated with all Tactical Data Links (TDL), including Link-11, Link-16, STJ, MTJ, and UTJ, on US Navy, Joint Service, and Allied Platforms, interoperability and integration of Tactical Data Links (TDL) into the Aegis Combat System and on Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). Responsible for coordinating TDL test planning and execution in support of test events such as BMD, Development Tests (DT), Operational Tests (OT), CSSQTs, FCTs, and PRTs. Investigate system and equipment problems discovered during test events and operations and participate in resolution of problems within the TDL architecture.
