Future Technologies is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our winning team. Location:  Dahlgren, VA

Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist with two (2) or more years of experience in Configuration and Data Management, Data Quality Assurance and QualityControl, or Inventory Control.
• Demonstrating analytical, verbal and written skills necessary to provide and maintain configuration management records and audits of the specified computer equipment and configurations across multiple sites.
• Configuration management related tools. Experience using Microsoft Office’s product suite.
• Demonstrating effective verbal skills to communicate with managers, developers, and peers.
• Writing procedures and preparing systems engineering Life-Cycle support documentation. Familiarity with standards and best practices for the Configuration Management discipline.

Required Education and Experience :

• HS diploma with 2 years relevant work experienc of Configuration Management or; an Associates Degree with 1 year relevant work experience
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented
• Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Product Data Management tools
• Ability to quickly learn new software tools and processes
