Future Technologies is seeking a system engineer to join our winning team. Location:  Moorestown, NJ

 

Clearance:  Must have an active secret clearance

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) oversight of functional performance of the ACS during tests conducted by the Developer and the U.S. Navy
  • Execute detailed and rigorous testing at the element level in a stand-alone environment, at the system level in a closed loop environment or test and evaluate ACS baselines/platforms interoperability in a multi-site environment
  • Witness and document engineering test and evaluation testing of the Developer product and provide metrics and assessment of performance to the Customer.
  • Participate in the review of AEGIS system design documentation for Major Milestone Reviews (IPR, SDR, PDR and CDR) and Agile development Engineering Technical Reviews leading to Government acceptance of multi-level specifications
  • Participate in single element or multiple element reviews and tests such as Engineering Test and Evaluation (ET&E) efforts
  • Review Developer documentation supporting element testing
  • Document test results and generate detailed defect reports
  • Work independently to perform research and understand systems under development or test
  • Review technical specifications and documents for accuracy, applicability and requirement content
  • Provide verification and validation for the approaches used to integrate and test ACS capabilities
  • As assigned, develop or validate test approaches and methods, collect data and perform detailed analysis.
  • Provide input and develop detailed test reports based on collected data and evaluate performance of the ACS.
  • Isolate defects based on test execution and verify closure of the issue
  • Provide and present technical and functional briefs
  • Participate in meetings and discuss test observations and other comments with the Developer   
  • Based on experience, lead teams pursuing the above tasks as group projects.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s of Science Degree in a STEM-based discipline 
  • Experience in live software or hardware requirements development or testing
  • Use of automated tools to complete analysis of requirements, test environment or testing results
  • Experience may include development or application of test methods in related fields such as mechanical or electrical equipment and systems and some undergraduate studies
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Experience providing leadership to small team
