Future Technologies is seeking a Security Specialist to join our winning team. Clearance: Secret

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide security risk management guidance pertaining to the protection of advanced technology, make access eligibility determinations in accordance with the Navy SAP Nomination Process, and review documentation required for classified information systems in accordance with the current regulations
• Conduct site surveys and physical security accreditations, interpret current security policies, and implement organization security policies and procedures.
• Perform physical, industrial, information and security personnel planning including SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections, and associated reporting and documenting of findings.
• Reviewing and applying governing policy including Executive Orders, DOD Security Directives, the SAP Nomination Process, Intelligence Directives and the JAFAN Series.
• Communicating orally to and in writing to managers, civilians, and military contractors across DoD and other agencies.

Required Education and Experience :

• A minimum of 10 years experience as a security specialist.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or other Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification.
• Experience in the fields of physical, industrial, information and personnel security planning SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections.
• Investigations of security incidents to include initial reporting and documenting findings in accordance with policy.
• Communicating orally and in writing to managers, civilians and military contracts across DoD and other agencies.

Desired:

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a business or technical field. A substitution for education may be filled with additional years of experience.
• 15 years' experience in Security Operation's to include Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Industrial Security and Operational Security.
