SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Logistics Management Specialist – Senior/Lead will provide insight to AFMIS user requirements and logistics management processes with regard to delivery, storage, deployment and disposal methodologies of goods and services.

The Logistics Management Specialist – Senior/Lead will provide insight to AFMIS user requirements and logistics management processes with regard to delivery, storage, deployment and disposal methodologies of goods and services. Duties may include, but not be limited to:
• Analyzing data automation policies, regulations and procedures to determine their impact on logistics information systems and to identify changes in the maintenance and use of computerized data by functional specialists.
• Assisting with researching and originating of concepts to introduce and integrate new technologies.
• Providing troubleshooting support by analyzing, studying, reviewing, testing, and interpreting information provided by user to determine whether hardware of software problems exists.
• Advising on logistics reporting requirements. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

 

• BS degree and minimum of nine (9) years of experience with Army food regulations and subject matter expertise (SME) of U.S. Army installation, dining facility, field support (tactical) operations, and troop issue subsistence requirements.  

 

SPECIAL SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: 

 

• Advanced degree is desirable in applicable discipline.
