Overview

The candidate will serve as on-site support at NAS Pax River for the JTDI Program Manager and Product Support Manager, as well as continuous collaboration with Integrated Product Team Leads.

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be providing acquisition and technical program support to our NAVAIR customer
  • Provide support in the preparation and development of various acquisition planning documents including, but not limited to, milestone reviews and master plans.
    • Provide detailed planning, schedules and reviews for activities related to fulfillment of requirements.
  • Map the financial impact and interdependencies across planning alternatives.
    • Assist in coordination with IPT Leads and services, in development of Annual Spend Plan inputs.
    • Provide updates to information in DADMS/FAM/DITPR-DON applications.
    • Ensure specific service-related requirements are properly documented, budget responsibilities are understood, and appropriate levels of funding are presented and defended as the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process moves forward.
    • Quantify the financial risk, impact and interdependencies across planning alternatives.
    • Attend technical and program reviews, comment on meeting minutes, white papers, briefs, presentations, and aid leadership instantiated processes for tracking action items and ongoing agreements.
    • Generate input for Army and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, funding requests, manpower estimates and other data calls.
  • Participate and provide programmatic and technical support for the following events: executive level reviews, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMR), working groups and other program-wide meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinate Defense Business Systems (DBS) investment certification input to the annual DITPR-DON submission.
  • Support the DBS/IRB annual DITPR-DON certification process.  
  • Evaluate the enterprise portfolio of programs, commodities, projects, and applications for funding strategies, redundancy of functionality, gaps in functionality, and compliance with DON EA IT policies.

Qualifications

** Must be able to obtain and retain Secret Clearance**

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering or information technology discipline plus 10 years of specific acquisition support experience
  • The candidate will be providing acquisition and technical program support to our NAVAIR customer. The candidate will have experience facilitating strategic planning meetings and developing and facilitating acquisition briefs to leadership.
