Overview

Support all technical and engineering stages of systems development, testing, integration, fielding, quality assurance (QA), certification, and maintenance. They shall participate in systems engineering activities including concept definition, system architecture development, system design, operational and system requirements development and management, external and internal interface management, security engineering, systems certification, communications and network engineering, hardware design and integration, system interoperability support, integrated logistics, training, fleet support, tactics and operations, mission engineering, metrics collection and analysis, modeling, and simulations. Other duties supporting these efforts include providing business operational and financial support, technical writing, documentation, configuration management, database maintenance, information assurance (IA), and system administration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IA support for the development and tactical hardware suites of equipment for H20 programs and products, including laboratory/land-based systems and operational afloat systems. IA duties include Information Assurance Vulnerability Management compliance (IAVMc), system patching, System Test and Evaluation (ST&E), user management, log management, and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation preparation and review
  • Perform activities in compliance with current guidance for administrators and users relating to the policies, procedures and controls required by Navy standards for A&A processes, and shall support and interface with local Information Assurance Officer (IAO) to ensure compliancy with current Government IA regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Three (3) years of experience in the development and maintenance of computer systems.
  • Experience utilizing DoD approved monitoring and scanning tools in support of system vulnerability management and reporting. This includes vulnerability status tracking and reporting in DoD systems.
  • Experience supporting requirements analysis, testing, and system deployment/configuration.
  • IAM level I certification
