Independent project leaders to work closely with Project Managers (as applicable).
Participates in the planning, organizing and performance of work associated with projects. Contributes to the performance of project activities and preparation of work related to the project and uses the most current methods, tools and techniques in performance; Provides technical expertise in subject area; Assists in the analysis and identification of business processes in requirements determination; Makes sure that products meet quality standards. Assists in planning work efforts and that schedules and budgets are in line with project objectives.
EDUCATION: Direct related experience in the related field, or a Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in the field or related area. Knowledge of the organization, function and operation of the Department of the Navy is acceptable but not required.
SKILLS: Knowledge of Microsoft Family of office programs to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Knowledge of the organization, function and operation of the Department of the Navy. Knowledge of management information system/office automation applications, principles and practices in accordance with the Privacy Act. Proficient Knowledge of Privacy Act and the Federal Privacy Act requirements is a primary factor. Special interest in Access, SharePoint, advanced excel and records management requirements, will be of special consideration. Or other specific qualifications deemed acceptable for specific special project requirements.
