  • Responsibilities

    Familiarity with Navy IT sites, systems, and infrastructure, including operational, RDT&E, and Platform IT (PIT). Familiarity with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF).
    Experience performing Validator Role for Navy Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Packages.
    Experience performing Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) role for Navy C&A
    packages. Experience with DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Experience utilizing eMass, VRAM, IAVM, DADMS, DD?TR~DON, and FISMA databases for Navy enclaves and applications. Experience with ensuring that Navy Information systems are operated, used, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Experience with reviewing, creating, and summarizing cybersecurity
    Navy issuances (Directives, Instructions, etc.).

    Experience with interpreting and responding to DoD, DON, and NAVSEA cybersecurity data calls, policies and initiatives. Experience completely
    quarterly and annual reporting of various DoD cybersecurity interest items via DoD Cyberscope (DCS) website. Experience with classified data spills, including submission of associated spillage reports and the execution of clean-up actions/mitigations.

    Experience performing Trusted Agent role
    SrPRNET tokens (Ex: Requesting certificates from Local Registration Authority).

    Experience approving user account requests for Navy systems, and ensuring account requester has satisfied the required cybersecutity training. Experience in Navy cybersecurity specific working groups and special projects. Experience in providing advice in the development of IT budget. Experience in providing Navy customer with loacal end uster IT support.




    Candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills, since the position requires working and interfacing with a senior military and civilian leadership. Must possess self-motivation and be willing to learn and invest in one's own development. Strong MS Office skills. Must have be able to maintain a secret clearance
