    FTI is an employee-focused provider of mission-critical information systems and technical support services to the government.  We are recruiting for contingent candidates to provide Enterprise desktop and system administration services as it relates to the implementation and day to day operations of Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer support. Tier 1 and 2 desktop support includes the setup and configuration of end user desktop and laptop systems; performing troubleshooting and problem resolution for hardware and software issues; device vulnerability resolution; troubleshooting of network connectivity problems on user’s systems, multi-functional devices printers (MFD), entering, updating, and closing trouble tickets for user reported problems, and compiling trouble call statistics and other performance metrics. Both classified and unclassified systems will be supported.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain an unclassified and classified managed enterprise desktop deployment.
    • Maintain and enforce windows active directory domain joining policies of the unclassified and classified managed enterprise desktop deployment.
    • Provide Unclassified and Classified desktop hardware, software troubleshooting and repair support on laptops/desktop systems.
    • Provide Unclassified and Classified desktop troubleshooting and repair support on laptops and desktops.
    • Support and troubleshoot current and new DoD mandated compliance software on laptops and desktops such as: Host Based Security System /Endpoint Security Solutions(HBSS/A. ESS) point products; BitLocker; SELinux compliance checker; AV (Linux, OSX, and Windows); and CAC middleware
    • Troubleshoot end-user approved installed applications issues affected by compliance software and other patches that may have affected the system.
    • Have knowledge of the Remedy ticket software system and be able to processes, monitor, generate and respond to trouble tickets within government established assigned timelines.
    • Provide real-time analysis and reporting on any issues and trends that may arise from daily operations to Government leadership.
    • Provide support when applicable at customer’s desk.

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of practical experience in data entry and formatting via common productivity tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite. Security+ required.

    Must have and be able to maintain and active Secret clearance.
