Logistics Analyst II

Moorestown, New Jersey

FUNCTIONS:

 

*Support the USN AEGIS Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard  ACS modernization efforts, new construction and fleet support efforts .

*Review, evaluate and analyze technical manuals and maintenance work packages for technical accuracy, readability, and compliance with the Navy Technical Manual Style Guide.

*Provide technical documentation for releasability recommendations to the customer.

*Provide logistics support to keep all on-site test equipment operational and available for ACS developer.

*Participate in Operating Material & Supplies (OM&S) inventory operations, including reviewing and analyzing stocking, conducting inventories, identifying and processing for expenditure excess materials and supporting special projects.   

*Adjudicate comments and ensure corrections are incorporated into documents.

*Excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Assist in preparation of reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

 

*Education requirement is a Bachelors of Science Degree in an Logistics/Business or similar  field with a minimum of 2 years direct work experience.

 *Experience may include U.S. DoD technical documentation production, releasability, or quality assurance reviews.

*Experience may include technical documentation support in related fields such as commercial research and development efforts or maritime industries.

*Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools.

*Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

*Experience in applying Microsoft Office tools to prior work-related efforts.

*Must be excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Must be able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
